Peadar Long

PEADAR LONG’S ‘CELESTIAL ECHOES’

Peadar Long has built an international reputation as a performer and composer. His music pushes the boundaries of jazz, classical and world music, whilst retaining an inspiring melodic flow. ‘Celestial Echoes’ is written for spaces like cathedrals, churches, basilicas and mosques. It features powerful jazz soloing using the natural rich acoustics of the building to give you an unforgettable, uplifting experience.

COMEDY CABARET HEAVEN

A fantastic night of the best in 21st century comedy and stand-up topped off by a glorious 9-piece swing band. Rory Motion, fresh from his own Radio 4 series and a string of TV appearances, a gloriously original and engaging comic will be there, together with Comedy Store regular Toby Hadoke. Also featuring Pete Lawless White, the award-winning manipulator: “a star with brains ” (The Guardian) and hostess and songbird Peggy Lee - all effortlessly compered by Mike Hancock. Laugh your socks off and then pull on your dancing shoes for the brilliant Cabaret Heaven Dance Band.

UK ’s leading saxophonist, Snake Davis will be playing alto, soprano, baritone and tenor saxes, flutes, whistle and shakuhachi - undoubtedly providing a fantastic gig. As resident saxophonist on Tonight with Jonathon Ross he has played with the likes of James Brown, Smokey Robinson, Chaka Khan and many more. Snake’s message is: “Give me a couple of hours of your time and I ’ll remind you how good live music can sound."
